“I wasn’t sure what to expect, so I was surprised how emotional the book could get. The lead clearly enjoys what she does with the monster and tries to deny it, and I like the emotional turmoil she goes through. Very relatable.
Also, it can be really intense at times. The scariest part to me was not the monster but the samurai that came to the village. Who’s the real monster, eh?
All in all, I liked it a lot. Steamy, scary and very intense. 5⭐“
