“A fascinating scifi-trip down a great variety of short stories. Reading this feels like diving into the mind of a scifi-writer toying around with the mechanisms this genre has to offer. The book contains a fine collection of short stories, every one with the “could tell this at the campfire” feel. Joachim is clearly very skilled in good old fashion storytelling. The stories don’t particularly convey a subliminal message or make a certain point but are foremost a fun adventurous read. Each story is really out of this place and takes you to the unimaginable, while you can count on Joachim’s descriptive writing to guide you.
